It's just a cockroach, for crying out loud. What's it gonna do? Scuttle off to the closest dark corner for fear of it's life and that's about it. Get a grip.

put it in your hair!
that way, you'll know for sure where it is!
Tip: mess up your hair, that way the cockroach will get angry and wont slip out!
