Prior to 1760 male cats were referred to as rams or boars. But in that year an anonymous book titled the Life and Adventures of a Cat was published. In which the main character was named Tom the Cat.Because the book was so widely read, the name stuck and was in later years shortened to Tom Cat and then tomcat

The tail on a pig is the only thing not used for any value (except the pig of course)! My dad used to work on the assembly line in Chicago's stockyards in the 1950's & his job was to cut the tails off of the pigs as they went by!

If forced to find a new nest (home) baby rats will cling to the under-side of the Mother rat.......(even at a very young age almost newborn)

One of my dogs has to turn around in circles before he takes a crap.......lots and lots of circles!! I get tired of waiting for him to do his business when it is sooo freezing outside!!!! LOL!!! True, I never seen any other dog do that before!!
