Plain and simple, It's illegal.

Players should be suspended for all illegal drugs. It should be understood that baseball does not condone the use of illegal drugs whether those drugs enhance performance or not. There are substances that you can get legally, that enhance performance but are not allowed by baseball.

What does "Pitching the ball and hitting it at two minutes per batting isn't really a sign of cheating to win" mean?

would not ask your self me that somebody might make up rumors approximately Pierzynski. Does he have ANY followers or maybe buddies interior the activities worldwide? Cano is the least confusing objective because of the fact he's not purely the main nicely rounded Yankee, yet between the main nicely rounded gamers interior the league. They understand Jeter does not take drugs at this diploma of his profession and jeopardize his interest for baseball and the Yankees, and Teixeira and Granderson are like maximum different means hitters (many living house runs, low basic), so Cano is somewhat the only different genuine standout on their offense. you in addition to could ought to think of that a Yankee might get stated because of the fact it would be undemanding to have faith, as 2 ex-Yankees have been caught and suspended by utilising the league. What i'm asserting is this: the right 2 human beings have been picked for a faux tale, yet neither are on drugs.

Pot isn't performance enhancing, you're right. Maybe it won't make you any better, but I wouldn't be surprised if it makes the guy strike out and miss balls he should have caught. He'll be dazed in the field if he's on pot, giving the opposing team an advantage.

Not to mention it's illegal.

Leave the tree off the field, if you want to toke it up then wait until you are done with Baseball for good and smoke yourself into oblivein! It is illegal outside the game it should be illegal inside the game, it is not "performance enhancing but it does slow your reaction time and could create a danger to yourself on the field.

i would honestly be suprised if very many, heck, if any, baseball players smoke pot, it is a performance de-hancer, i should know, from experience, it definately slows down the reaction time, which is not a good thing when youre chasing after 95 mph fastballs, but anyway, im sure mlb has something in place already for it, they do for cocaine, so im sure they do for heroin, pot, amphetimines, lsd and any other illicit drug you can think of

It is one of the (54) substances on the banned substance list of which many are not performance enhancing. There is no room in baseball for pot and it should not be used.

Yes, they should be thrown out of the game for life. How dare a bunch of 20-something millionaires look to unwind with a joint every now and then when they should be in Church. Potheads have no place in the entertainment industry.

No.

They should make Pot legal and alcohol should be illegal.

It would cut down on the Drunk Driving Deaths per year and bars would be much more fun with everyone smoking reefer anyways.

Ridiculous!
There's no room in baseball for such stupidity!
Besides, pot is illegal.

Yes, of course they should be - it's illegal. It doesn't matter what kind of drug it is, it's a drug and the use of it should result in appropriate punishment.
