from losing your home because of not being able to make the house payment?

2007-12-06 18:54:04 · 12 answers · asked by Anonymous in Politics & Government Politics

I have a technical degree not a business degree. If I ran a business, I'd probably run it like Bush did with the businesses he was in charge of, into the ground.

Temp Agencies are always looking... if not there's always McDonalds or Wally World

But of course you'll be losing your home.... Bush is looking out for the wealthy... the middle class is like a second thought if at all

It is not the Bush economy but the world economy that has been pursued by the last three Presidents. The middle class has been hit hard by this even though far more jobs are being created then lost. The new jobs are mostly near minimum wage or at upper middle class wages. Those who lose out on this do not have the skills for the higher paying jobs and cannot live on the lower paying jobs because their bills are based on maintaining what they had. I don't know what the answer is as retraining is expensive and most likely ineffective as many are working the jobs they did because they didn't feel they wanted or could get a college education, and colleges are putting out as many people as needed to fill the new jobs. The good news is that, with the dollar falling, imports will become more expensive and manufacturing within the USA will be more competitive then it is now. It is the readjustment period that is hurtful and seems to have no answer.

You apparently know nothing about economics. The economy is doing just fine.
Could it be that it's your fault you lost your job? Your education, experience and work ethic are what will determine the kind of job you'll get.
Life's not always fair but reality is what it is.

If liberals think that we're sending all of our jobs overseas, doesn't it make sense that they should follow?

Why stay here?

The jobs report is coming out tomorrow, and the DOW index is pumped! The index has risen about 400 points anticipating good news. If you can't get a good job, you must be doing something wrong.

You probably should not have bought a home if you could not make the house payment. Or you should have bought something cheaper. The unemployment rate is under 5%, which is excellent. President Bush's tax cuts are working, unless you want higher taxes. There are many jobs out there.

Since median wages were actually lower in real terms in 2006 than in 2000 that would be a difficult thing to do.

Anythings possible.
You may have to work more hours to keep the house, so its a question of what you enjoy more your time or your house.
