I'm a far left Democrat... so far I joke I fell off the edge.

BUT it bothers me Obama talks of change while claiming he voted against the Iraqi war.

What am I talking about? I did a poll in Polls & Surveys just asking ppl if they believed Obama initially voted for the Iraqi war or not.

NOT ONE knew he did NOT vote... he was not in the Senate until 2005.

Tells me he is just the same with spin and lies as Bush...

He KNOWS (as my poll proved) ppl don't look up and research that he was not in the Senate to even vote on it.

He attacks Hillary for voting for it but never takes 2 seconds to clarify he was not in the Senate to even vote on it...

This is the type of dirty word tricks Rs have been using for years... I will not vote for this as my Democratic president.

It also bothers me that he missed a couple of key Senate votes because he was absent. I would rather someone vote and have defend it later than ignore the vote because they don't want to defend it later, which is what I believe he did.

But, I'm a Hillary supporter and hopefully, she'll be the nominee.

Well...as Dr House would undoubtedly say, "Everybody lies."

ALL politicians lie, Democrat, Republican, ******' Green Party...they're all liars. Pathological liars. All they want is that private jet, unlimited expense account (i.e. the Treasury) and the opportunity to get sucked off by a high class hooker instead of a twenty dollar crackwhore for a change, okay? They'll walk over their own grandmothers to get elected...politicians in general don't give a ratfuck about the interests of the People: they're only out to line their own pockets and hopefully have good things written about them in the goddamn history books!

(Whoo boy...little cynical this morning, ain't'cha!)

Well, since Obama never said he voted against the war you aren't gonna' be able to give me a link, so I won't bother to ask. What Obama said was and I can give you a link, that he was against the war from the beginning. He has never once stated that he voted against it. And everyone that knows anything about politics or watches the news knew that. Why don't you just be honest? His skin color bothers you. You're the one spinning.

He's said he was against the war, not that he voted against it. And it's true, he was a big opponent of the war before it started. Except he was only a state senator at the time, so it wasn't his decision. If he could have voted against it back then, he would have. So what's the difference if someone who doesn't pay attention to detail thinks he had a vote?

It is sad, but Bush has set the Hypocrisy and Lying Bars so damn high that truth has been thrown under the political bus.

Then again, lying seems trivial compared to body-counts of 10s-to-100s of thousands of innocent victims.

He doesn't say that. He says he didn't support the war and was vocal against it at the time. He was still in the Illinois legislature in 2003.
He did say that among the candidates, he was the only one who didn't vote for war, which is slightly different than saying he voted against it. Richardson was quick to point out that he, too, did not vote for this war since he was a governor at the time. lol
