I chose Henderson. It is more suburban and I work in LV. But Henderson has newer houses better insulation .. Better drainage systems and very good schools. LV is fine to live in also but Henderson has more of a neighborhood charm.

Las Vegas and Henderson are Separate and Distinct municipalities. I happened to live in Henderson when I was a boy and now I live in Las Vegas. I would pick Las Vegas for a lot of reasons. I have lived here since 1959. So I think Vegas would be better, however, Henderson is sprawling out across the desert and you may want to check it out. I still visit Henderson ever once in a while. Note: Vegas is getting too big, like Los Angeles. But if I had to choose over, I would choose Vegas, not Henderson. Just my preference.

before everything i wouldn't in any respect flow to someplace I under no circumstances visited. a bypass to provides you with a sense of what life could be like there. you're basing your flow on what you have heard approximately Las Vegas. this is not any longer stable. bypass to it to make certain what this is all approximately. a lot of human beings bypass to right here on holiday and then opt to bypass right here. 2d, there are not jobs available. for each and each interest establishing there are a hundred nicely qualified applicants. no longer a great time to bypass right here. no longer understanding the place to look for a house is a sturdy indication which you will bypass to and check out the section. Henderson is a sturdy selection yet on the different hand there are some no longer so perfect aspects in Henderson. You and your mom could study this text approximately moving to Vegas. places issues interior the suited attitude.

Henderson is 25 miles from Vegas and on the way to Boulder City. There is also North Las Vegas and the rest of Clark County.
You want to live where you work because the traffic is more like LA than a small town.
Henderson has variety of apartments and houseing areas from Green Valley to Pittman (old area) to Black Mt to McDonald Ranch (age restricted) to Anthem to Anthem Sun City (age restricted). It is no small, boring city.
Vegas has the Strip (not within City limits) and several great housing developments from Sun City Summerlin and Sienna (age restricted), to Summerlin, to Picolle Ranch, to The Lakes. There are apartments and houses to buy and rent.
North Las Vegas has old and new areas. The newer areas are more in the desert areas but have all services.
If I did not live at The Lakes I would move to Sun City Summerlin or Boulder City (small town with no gambling).
Try looking at www.lasvegas.com or www.vegas.com for information. Would I live in the north? NO, snow and cold in Reno and Carson City.
You need to decide why you want to move to NV because it is a town of conflicts and fun.

Sorry about Miss smarty pants, although you will want to spell Nevada properly once you move here. Henderson, a suburb of Las Vegas, is a more affluent area just to the South. Summerlin is also an affluent suburb to the West, a little more expensive, and they have more grass and trees.

Nevada.
They just merge into each other anyhow.
Henderson has flooding and so does Las Vegas.
Move to the SouthPointe area neighborhood. Ask a realtor.
City of Las Vegas is downtown area only from Sahara to Fremont Street area.
The strip area is uncorporated Clark County.

Bolder City, a little to south east is actually better.
There is not much dividing Vegas and Henderson, and both can be crime riddled.
