Just go see your doctor and get some evidence-based medicine (i.e. something that works which typically means not natural).

It depends on how advanced things are. In the early stages sometimes you can literally flood the matter and reduce the amount of bacteria to a level your body can deal with. It's not really important what you drink, just that you drink loads of it. We are talking drink until your molars float and then have another quart amounts of fluid. The best fluid is water, followed by cranberry juice, but like I said, it's quantity that is most important. Swap over to all cotton undies, not thongs and not nylon with a cotton patch. Switch to plain, white, unscented toilet paper as well. Baths are out, showers are the only option. Go commando as often as possible as well, and use baby wipes for personal cleaning- the unscented variety. Soap should also be the plain no scent type- like Ivory. You should aim to go to the bathroom about once an hour at least. If you spike a fever though, or this doesn't work within a few days, you really will need to see the doctor. If you have to, go to the ER. They make payment arrangements, and won't refuse to see you for treatment. The antibiotic might be expensive, but ask the doctor for a generic brand and not one of the z-paks. Ten days of the old fashioned stuff is still cheapest, and just as effective. Sorry, but that's the best I have to offer.

Nothing is 100% guarenteed not even antibiotics so anyone claiming they can give you that is misleading you. Epidemiologicl studies have shown that cranberry juice is a good preventative of UTIs as it stops the bacteria sticking to the lining of the urinary tract in the first place. Similarly drinking lots of water can help. However UTIs are more serios in men as the urethra is obviously longer so the infection is clearly more deep set if you are experiencing symptoms. For that reason I would suggest seeing your doctor for those antibiotics you seem so set against as a kidney infection is going to be a lot worse than a simple UTI.
(speak to your doctor first about taking cranberry juice if you are currently taking warfarin)

Something that works for me is homeopathics. I use the Cantharis. I stay away from cranberry juice since it often times has sugar added. Sugar will agrivate a UTI. I have taken the cranberry juice extract before. I feel like that has helped. But I highly recomend the homeopathics.

Nothing is 100% guaranteed to not come back. UTI's come and go a lot.
Best cure is cranberry juice. A LOT of cranberry juice. Drink it until you feel better. It flushes your system better than most meds. Cheap too.
