130/90 is pre-hypertension. get it down to 120/80 and you will be fine. do not exceed 140+ systolic. your fine right now, but need small changes

oh by the way, hypertension IS curable... proper diet and stress managment will lower it....

if it was not curable than your systolic/diastolic ranges would be permanent. thats just nonsense

Is Bp 130 90 Normal

2017-01-09 13:44:16 · answer #2 · answered by ? 4 · 0 0

Hi,
The normal bp should be 120/80 or below. But again 130/90 is on the higher side or normal. Generally for younger people it's somewhat ok as per doctors. But this is the warning sign and you need to think about reducing it. I've bp range bet. 120-130/80-90. I have stopped red meat and junk food. 10 months back my weight was 87kg and bp above 130/100. Now I weight 75kg . I achieved this by walking briskly for 30-40 minutes, reducing junk foods and reducing foods which contribute high calorie. Still I need to work more on this as I feel still it's little high. I am 34 years old.

You should been seen by your doctor to get your blood pressure under control before it gets any higher. You are a little borderline at this time. Usually a low sodium and losing weight with exercise as in walking can get it under control. Stress can also be a contributor to high blood pressure and exercise is good to reduce stress levels. Blood Pressure Category Systolic (mm Hg) Diastolic (mm Hg) Normal less than 120 and less than 80 Prehypertension 120–139 or 80–89 High Stage 1 140–159 or 90–99 Stage 2 160 or higher or 100 or higher

3 years ago, I was diagnosed - hypertension with a reading of 160/100. I used to feel dizzy a lot, my legs had awful cramps, and levels were very low in my potassium, causing my fingers and toes to always cramp together. One day I started to feel really faint while I was driving with my daughter in the back seat and I passed out, hitting 3 cars and ending up in a ditch. That moment,I knew I had to do something because my meds weren't working. I heard about this diet from a friend and thought I'd give it a shot. The results have been remarkable. In just 21 days, I honestly can't remember feeling this good, my blood pressure went from 175/110 to 125/70.

Don't be obsessed. Your BP is very much normal. Up to 140/90 is normal. BP varies from man to man, in athletes it may be lower than the upper limit. in some one even 100/50 may be normal in other 160/90 may be normal for him. so do not worry you do not have high BP.

It is on the high side of normal. If you are taking medicine and this is the reading, may be the medicine should be increased in dosage or the medicine changed but your doctor is the best judge of that.

If your weight is more in relation to your height, you may consider reducing the weight.

BP is controllable, not curable in allopathy (modern medicine). Consider Yoga and other alternative medical or non-medical systems to bring down the BP.

I took medicines for 2 months but then through relaxation and deep breathing, prayer, Reiki etc. succeeded in bringing it to normal and am maintaining it for the last 3 years without medication.

A bit high my friend. Should be NO MORE then 120/80. High BP (or hypertension) is NOT curable. It IS controlable by both medication AND by personal habit and mind control.

Hypertension will cause rupturing of the fine blood capilaries in the eye leading to blindness, ruptured blood vessles and the breaking away of plaque substances inthe arteries causing blood clots and strokes.

Better learn as much as you can and get with the program.

Good luck

normal blood pressure
diastolic-70-90
systolic-100-130

usually hypertensives are 140/100mmHg
it varies from time to time depends on a person. if you are stressed out it may goes up and sometimes goes down.

if you are hypertensive, try to see a doctor to confirm if have some angina or chest pain or if you have some troubles with your heart because hypertension is a sign of major diseases...
