Ok I have not read it in its entirety yet but from what I gather thus far, I am upset with the media. Why? Because they keep referring to Iran in 2003 then 2005 having a nuclear weapons program... and now, not having one.
The truth is NIE officials have admitted their arms were twisted in the previous reports by the Bush Administration... what we are getting now is FINALLY a real report with no re-wording or arm twisting..
Seriously, PBS Frontline did a documentary on this a few years ago... how the Bush Adm would send the NIE word for word edits of their report... things to change, omit and to reword.

I agree with TCBen, totally.
We don't need a report to tell us what the intentions and wishes of the Iranians are.
We have only to heed the words of Ahmadinejad's constant threats toward Israel and western society as a whole, the US in particular, to know that our president's stance on this issue has been correct form the get-go.
Should we disclaim the lethality of Iran's fueling and promotion of terrorism due to this piece of paper, too? Even if the report were correct, does it really make a difference in light of all we know about Iran?
The NIE's Report is afterall a piece of paper. I put no more stock in it than I did the 9/11 Commission's Report. We simply can't in this election year expect the state of the world to be accurately put to paper especially, when what we read defies all that we see when simply sitting up and paying attention!
- unless, of course, you've got a liberal agenda.
Then, yes, you would of course show your stripes. In this instance, by closing your eyes to the reality of the world and forgoing all fact while insisting that, "It says right here...." when you finally get something in writing that demonstrates that our president is wrong and the Iranians are more trustworthy.....
The theory listed in the link you provided is obviously true based upon the evidence we have before our eyes.

The NIE is basically saying that the invasion of Iraq put the fear of God into Libya and Iran and convinced them to stop developing nuclear weapons.
That is a clear victory for our president.
Notice that liberals are making it out to be just another Bush lie. I never thought I would see the day when any significant group of people would hate their country so much that they would actively try to undermine everything, including good news.

Frankly I don't buy it...Iran's nuclear ambitions are without a doubt militaristic in nature and they pose a significant threat to stability in the region. They have made their intent of destruction of Israel as well as their ulterior willingness to attack the US quite plain repeatedly. They are not to be taken lightly in this regard.

Outrageous neocon rag mags like this have no credibility. If a U.S. General disagrees with the Likud, discredit and fire him. If U.S. intel refuses to lie in the NIE, discredit them and try to get them fired.
