do you ever get the urge to throw your cell phone as hard as you can against a brick wall until it shatters?

Done it. I have insurance on my phone just for these reasons.

I get that urge sometimes. Then, I remember that it's just me trying to escape my problems and find the easy way out. Trouble is, I never seem to learn not to pick up the phone when the stupid boy calls. I'm always there to pick up when he calls, but he's never there when I need him. It burns me up - makes me want to throw my phone against the wall, delete my facebook and myspace accounts, and teach him the lesson of what it might really be like without me in his life.

Really, when it comes down to it, I hate being tied down. No one likes waiting on someone. No one likes waiting to be called on - I know I don't! I think I'd live much more freely if I didn't have one. Yet again, it would be hard, in this day and age, to meet up with someone without one. We are all soooo busy!!

It's frustrating!

Actually, I've done that with 5 different phones after getting into huge bad arguments with my fiance. lol...I know not good.
I threw one against the pavement and it broke.
I smashed one with a hammer
I cracked about two in half.

Yeah...I hate phones sometimes. I seem to take my anger out on them. Thats why I always get cheap phones, cause I know eventually I'm gonna end up throwing it.

I have quite a few friends who have actually done this (maybe not with a BRICK wall, but something with a similar consistency)

and the general consensus is that its not worth it... a few seconds of vengeful satisfaction for several hundreds of dollars worth of phone... you do the math! (but yea, the urge is still there)

oh yea, i've done that before. .. and i did it to my boyfriends about a month ago, he had to get a new one.. i suggest u try to control it as much u can cuz its not worth it.. u can put it down and than pretend to throw it, or punch something, or throw something else, but nothing that is breakable.. its just cuz wen u get soooo angry its the violent side that comes out and some people can control it better than others. if u feel ur anger is to much for even you to handel, i suggest some counseling, maybe anger management, its not just for psychos, its for normal people too. good luck.

No, because that would cost me a lot of money to replace. Take out your anger on something less expensive or do some exercise like jogging or biking to alleviate your hot temper.

Yes, I snapped my flip phone in half a few months back. It was no fault of the phone's ~ I had just had it with all the phone calls.

No. I would rather tear my money to pieces. OR if I were to get the urge I would first make a full backup of my contacts to be prepared for the situation.

Never.

Why would you want to do that? It was you who wanted THAT phone. ANyway - may be people are like this because we are overusing it and expect it to be more than what it really is - a PHONE!
