These are just two of many controversial tenets of the Mormon religion:
"Mormon men can have multiple wives in heaven _ eternal polygamy," says one tenet, while another claims that "God the father had sex with Mary to conceive Jesus, who is the half brother of Lucifer."
How can Christians vote for him?

It's from an AP report.

Yes it could hurt him...

BUT what would hurt him worse is if the American ppl ever explore what it really means to be a Mormon. The problem is most ppl have fallen for Romney's false "I believe in Jesus" statement... Christians don't realize that is NOT the same Jesus as they believe.

I watched

and after watching that, I (AS FAR LEFT AS YOU CAN GO) would vote Republican before I let a cult Mormon be president of my country.

What is most disturbing about Romney and other intelligent Mormons is the fact that they seem to be in denial about what Mormonism teaches.

At the core of orthodox christian belief is the fact that Jesus Christ is God. (John 1, Collosians 1, Hebrews 1) In Mormonism Jesus Christ has been demoted to that of a created angelic being and is believed to be the brother of Lucifer (as you have already stated).

And yet Mormon politicians want to be perceived as being just another "Christian denomination", all the while knowing that there are critical differences between Biblical doctrine and the tenets of Mormonism. This, to me, is pure deception.

Also to be fair, some of the assertions that you've made are no longer part of the official dogma of current day Mormonism, except in some splinter groups that have been "excommunicated" from contemporary Mormonism.

Where are you getting these crazy ideas!!!!???? Where did you get these quotes!!!???? It doesn't say those ideas in the Book of Mormon or the Doctrine and Covenants and Mormons are not taught that in church today. It doesn't even say that on the Mormon website lds.org. Gordon B. Hinckley and the Church's General Authorities never said anyone close to that. The General Authorities have made it very clear that polygamy is an abomination, so of course Mormons don't believe in "eternal polygamy." If Mormons don't support polygamy in the earthly life, they certainly don't support it in the afterlife. And of course Mormons don't believe God had sex with Mary because they don't believe in incest. If you confronted any active, devout Mormon with these so-called "tenets," they would have no idea what you're talking about. Your ignorance disgusts me!

Here is what I don't understand; how can a Evangelical Christian support any person whose beliefs, differ from the Holy Bible. Talk about controversy; Evangelical voted for George Bush in 2000 Presidential Election to prevent Gay Marriages.

Yet are willing to embrace a person who believes in theories that conflict with the Holy Bible in major ways: Jesus and Lucifer being brothers; that our physical structure known on earth will be the same in heaven, where the Bible clearly indicates only spiritual nature (no sex); and the temple oath to be killed if you reveal, temple rituals of marriage. What happen to God free-will?

There are so many contradictions from the Mormon faith and that of the Evangelical Christian belief and the their worship of God. How can you turn your back on Gay Marriage and welcome in arms a cult member, who with others will lead souls to hell? Are you willing to give God an answer for your vote? Stick to the principals you preach; ALWAYS!

If you'll read the article carefully, you'll see that the article is quoting ant-Mormons, not actual Mormons. Mormons absolutely do not believe God had sex with Mary. Polygamy also does not play the major role in the Mormon view of the after life that you imply in your question.

Last time I checked, lying was a sin...

Did you actually READ the article?????????????????????????????????????????????

The article was giving an example of a FAKE email purported to be from Romney to Iowa voters in an attempt to discredit him and make him sound like a loon.

He didn't actually write an email with such crap, it's a fake, and mormons don't really believe that.

LEARN TO READ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
