Remember the Princess named SOHCAHTOA.

Sin = Opposite / Hypotenuse
Cos = Adjacent / Hypotenuse
Tan = Opposite / Adjacent

Cosine B =the adjacent side divided by the hypotenuse
Cosine B =45/53
Cosine B =0.867,TO FIND THE value of the angle look for the cosine of this angle in your,table, the angle is almost 30 degrees ,because, cosine of 30 deg.=0.866

adjacent / hypotenuse - substitute your values and you are done
