Actually, those countries do have outbreaks of terrorism, but the military factions that control the governments in each crush them swiftly and violently. You don't hear about them because their media outlets are monitored by government. They rule with iron hands.
TO SALTBOI: Be careful of what your teachers pass on as "facts". Most have left-wing biases and tend to preach socialist agendas. Don't let them force-feed you their idealogies. Try to read the Wall Street Journal and U.S. News and World Report more often as well. Keep an open mind. You'll be a better informed person for the effort!

Because the terrorist simply know better. Countries such as China, South Korea, Japan, etc. will sit back and permit America to spill the blood of our military. We are the Super Power of the world--So let them handle the war...
It would be wonderful if all nations realize that war produce hatred, distrust and destruction--where there should be peace and prosperity for all.

More accurately, the question is "Why don't you hear about terroist attacks occuring in countries like China, South Korea, or Japan ?", because, in fact, they do.

enable me remind you human beings under a treaty signed 0.5 a century in the past, China is obliged to “render militia and different counsel by making use of all skill at its disposal” in the form North Korea comes under “armed attack by making use of any state.” So actual if north korea are attacked then china additionally will help north korea and russia additionally can assist you china and hearth missiles at u.s. and to no longer overlook iran because it additionally will help north korea so u ought to stay close to a school in case a conflict breaks out as no us of a will ever attack a school as there are a number of worldwide scholars and the commercial areas would be attacked and the locations which will shake the financial device of a rustic. solid success.

The United States goes everywhere and gets involved with everything seeing how they're a "world power" and see it as their duty to regulate everything. That's why countries target the US. When you get involved in many issues, you will have many enemies. Some will be more radical than others. Countries like China, South Korea, or Japan don't try to force their government on other countries (like the United States has done with iraq) and don't really try to get involved in other peoples' business. I remember i was learning about the US going into Saudi Arabia to help them defend their land from Iraq (during the 1st gulf war). Osama was hoping Saudi Arabia would ask him to help instead of people who aren't even muslim. But Saudi Arabia chose US and made Osama mad. If we didn't get invovled in the problems at the middle east, i don't think Sep.11 would've happened. So that's why countries like China, S. Korea or Japan get terrorist attacks. They know their boundaries (most of the time i guess).

China, South Korea, & Japan dont have thousands of soldiers in a dozen middle eastern countries.
IF they did, they would also be attacked. Fact is muslims dont like non muslims on their land.
Muslims would prefer a violent murderous muslim over a peaceful non muslim to be their occupier.

well... they do, as some have pointed out...
but their terrorists usually seem to be more internal... like people wanting to take down the government that live in the nation...
and I think a big part of that is eastern nations, like the ones you mention, are well-known to be much more isolation and not nearly as involved in the affairs of other nations...
now, there are some advantages that we have due to our greater involvement in other nations... but there are also some disadvantages...
