yea im just wondering for reasearch but is marriage a binding contract???im pretty sure it is but i need to make sure...thans you guys

I believe marriage is a binding contract everywhere. There may be different beliefs in other lands as to the actuality of what marriage may be.

If you were legalily Married in the first place it is. But if you claim common law, you have to find out the laws in your state, every state has thier own rules! But if were married by a church or legal authority(such as judge, magistrate etc) you are married in every state, till you divorce!
