In my knowledge there is no country which legally force woman to cover their face.
In saudi woman have cover the whole body. covering face is not compulsory.
In many muslim places woman cover their becasue of religion obligation. This is true, wherever muslims are there, including, west, Arabia, fareast, India etc.
Your question: why do you think women and men are different,
does not really carry any meaning. Men and women are different, by all meaning. They have different physics, they have different psychology pertaining to emotion and process of thinking. The notion of equality of gender is biggest deception of this era. This was done to bring out woman from their homes and exploite them as merely object of sex and commercial commodity. This is woman who is loosing by this notion and capitalists are using them to influence men's mind to make more and more money.

Most Muslim countries (as is their custom) women cover their faces. So this could affect every country in the world.
An the woman I saw at the "Wal-mart" the othere day needed here face covered(Biker shorts and 250 pounds don't mix).
But in any land that the muslim community is the women do cover their faces.

in muslim countries women have to have their faces covered before they are married. very few countries treat women with respect although the uk and other christian countries are starting to. Women are different from men as they are classed as the weaker sex

its called the middle east and face -covering is usually not necessary.
I wouldn't call it disrespect
each culture has their own standard of conduct/idea when it comes to the opposite sex.
