yes..because there is a certain comfort in knowing that you worked hard to earn something...

when you constantly have things handed to you..ehh it's such a bore..there is no thrill to it..

Worked for a paycheck for sixty years and enjoyed most of it. Played the lottery, some casinos and never won a dime. So the paycheck is the way to go. At least it is steady and if a bit of it is set aside weekly, you won't have to worry about winning the lottery to finance your retirement.
