I'm Jesse Kimmel, I play fooball at BHS. One of the top 7-A high schools in Arkansas. I play wide reciever. I'm a junior and missed my junior season because of injury. I didn't get to play much varsity my sophomore year because of a top player in the state started in front of me. I'm only 5'6'' 150lbs. My 40 yd dash is 4.59. I can bench 245, and squat 290. Do you think its too late to get recruited?

Listen to Mike! I attend Texas Tech right now also, and it's definitely a friendly school for any WR prospect. This past year Danny Amendola and Eric Morris both contributed heavily to our offensive success! And they both are what you would considered undersized as far as a WR would go. They aren't the fastest or tallest out there, but they both very high football IQ's, run good routes, and have great hands. Eric Morris is from a town called Shallowater which is just outside Lubbock, and he actually just bugged the crap out of the Tech staff to watch videos of him play, and so forth and now he playing a huge contribution to a D-I program! I think he's 5'7 or maybe shorter. So it's definitely not too late, just keep working hard at everything and you will always have a shot at anything you set your mind to!

Id say no... ur undersized, obviously. Not the most blazing speed, but i guess that is fast for a Junior in HS. Still you need extra beef to protect the football. Your best chance most likely is entering a Div-2/Div-3 program, that is if you gain more weight and do work on your last year.

If there's no attention = walk-on :]

heres the problem, you are a little too short to play WR. You got the speed, but the height is a big thing especially at the Division 1 level.

Yes! Get into contact with Texas Tech if you can catch. Wes Welker played here, it's a great program and an awesome school! Just come to school here if you decide not to play... you won't regret it!

I'd go the D2 or D3 route as a kick returner.

No, talk to your coach and see if he knows anyone. Even if you end up in a weak program it is great experience and a free education.
