work/boss problems are these usual?

i do a great job at work my boss doesn't seem to notice and i do a lot of work...we have the papers to prove it and the cameras! i never lied cheated or stole...i always did what he asked without blinking an eye and he treats me like i do nothing and he keeps saying "u think ur perfect" and i never even act like it i just happen to do my job and do it well i thought thats what bosses wanted!!!! for example i work when im not supposed to more than the norm i wanted off on my bday(my scheduled day off to begin with) and for months i asked if i can take off (yes i asked off on my day off) and it came to the day and i had plans and hes like u have to work and was telling me these things like to make me feel bad..why couldn't he say for once shes always working on her day off why not give her a break but instead he gave me the worst bday!!!! and then i was stuck working the next day alone and i was told i was workin alone on purpose bc i never came in my bday! they are crazy!

Your boss is a Axx Hole. I think you are never going to get what you want from this person. You have to set the limits, and let him know what they are. I would just sit him down and tell him how you feel.

First, quit working when you are not supposed to. Do NOT work if you aren't getting paid. Do not work on your day off. Stand up to this idiot and he might start treating you with respect.

If not, then tell your boss to kiss it! Start looking for a new job now. When you get a different job, make sure you get paid for the work you do. Always take your day off or demmand that you get paid overtime pay. You should get paid extra for extra work. If you let an employer know that you expect to we treated well, they are more likely to do that. You you let them feel like you will do whatever they say and not expect anything in return, the will also do that.
