You have a wish to get a very important something - a love, a sense, a gift -
would you rather -
1 - never have the something because their is a great rick to getting it? (a risk where you could maybe die)
2- get the "something" but have to deal with losing it and never getting it again? (you would be deeply depressed without it)

just provide your answer, why, the reason for choosing, and what you would want

thanks

I had number two, lost it, and was deeply depressed without her. The pain still hides and tweeks with little hurts.

Yeah, I would choose 2 again.

What I want most of all is to ease the suffering of all people. End all war and hatred. Bring peace, everlasting to this world. For this I would give my life and all that I have. So your options do not perfectly qualify for my very important something.

1. Never have it? --- Who cares about risk! This is not an option. I WANT it!!!!

2. Get it but risk losing it? --- This defies the "everlasting" part of my wish. There would be no dealing if the world has it forever.

But 2 would be closest. I would risk losing MY part in that world since I would give my life for it. Small price to pay.

One can not miss what one never has had, they can only imagine it, wonder, speculate. Burning impressions granted, but little or no risk. Nothing in life is truely without risk of some form or another, especially anything worth while or which has importance to the individual(s) involved. Simply not wanting would circumvent all of it. But that goes against human nature doesn't it? Good luck.
