Which is better...Shaving cream, shaving gel, soap or those razors with the built in lubricant???

Shaving everyday is a man's previlege. It can never be taken away.

Cream. All the way.
No soap - dries the skin.
Gel - real men don't use gel.
Built in? - bah, humbug.

In a pinch, I may go to the brush and shaving lather cup -
Now, that's real MAN.

the razors with the built in lubricant are the worst as far as i´m concerned. i don´t like the soap. shaving cream or gel are both fine. i prefer the gel though

Shaving Gel because the additional rubbing in that you have to do softens up your bristles and makes them easier to shave off. Also go for quality razors made by the recognised brand leaders, rather than the supermarkets own brands. They are simply more comfortable to use. Nothing worse than shaving cuts at a business meeting etc./

I've tried them all, and then a few others as well. For my money, the best shave is the Razors with the built-in soap/lubricant. Nothing else compares. They are expensive, but you get the best shave ever.

Shaving gel is my preference but I will use shaving cream for women as well. I just like to make sure it contains some sort of moisturizer.

Soap works okay for me, and is cheapest. Sometimes I use my shower gel or shampoo, I don't buy shaving gel any more. And the built in stuff doesn't work at all.

All depends what i'm shaving but shaving gel is good for quickness, but cream feels better and leaves a smoother finish, for those special occasions

I like the razors with built in stuff, they shave pretty well, but I also use shower gel/gel...

I like gel, but if I'm running low on that I've used hair conditioner, and that works pretty well. Soap is a terrible idea, it just dries out my skin and makes it harder to shave.
