Planets are spheres. The volume of a sphere is

4/3 π r³

where r is the radius in meters.

The density is mass ( in kg ) divided by volume ( in m³ ).

volume of a sphere is 4/3 x pi x r^3
so (4/3)(pi)(2.44x10^8)^3 = volume
desity is equal to mass/volume
so take the mass and divide it by volume
