The more complex a wallpaper the more of your virtual memory is being used - so yes it does make sense to have a simple wallpaper or one standard colour.

All kinds of diff pics of Jamie Foxx it changes every few secs. I wish somebody in this house (hubby) would say something!!! It is just a pic, and your girl needs to relax.
