There is no state or federal law restricting interstate travel. Check with the bus company to see what kind of ID they might require.

If you mean traveling in a "Greyhound bus", for example, you need whatever ID you had from the last state you resided in (on a permanent location). For instance, if you lived in CA, have a CA, ID. You have to be able to prove who you are. If you mean that you will be driving a bus, then you need a Class S drivers license. It allows you to drive the bus. If it's a recreational vehicle, you need a CDL.

Class S driver's license? Never heard of it. I have a CDL-A
with a passenger endorsement and it allows me to drive a
bus. You need to identify yourself when you buy a bus ticket
but you don't need ID to cross state lines. Its one of the great
things about the USA.
