I have a dell latitude cpi laptop, and it is windows xp, but it is below service pack 2. I cannot upgrade to internet explorer 7 because of this and i cannot install zune sotware from the internet or from the cd because of this. But whenever i put in the windows xp service pack 2 disk, it ways that my laptop is not compaable for this. Is there any way i can make it compadible for windows xp service pack 2? Thank you for your help!

Dell usually fails trying to do that.
Eather u should get a new laptop, or send your dell to dell for

Microsfot does not support sp1 any longer.you should have no problems installing this at all try using the download instead of the cd.best of luck.and no u will need to have sp2 inorder to use ie7

you dont want IE7. I downloaded it when it first came out and it totally screwed up my pc, so I had to go back and reset my settings to factory settings. I lost everything because of IE7. and yes I have an XP.
