Juvenile delinquencies should be tried as if they were one, and not as adults so that they won’t experience adult abuse, as well as not being able to conduct in prison, and their minds aren’t mentally able to formulate the right decisions.

I tried creating a sentence that included my three reasons for an essay, but can't seem to get it to make sense. What words can I take out in order for it to flow? I won't use your sentence, I just need an idea.

JDs should be tried in court as who they are, as oppsed to being treated as adults. this will prevent unfair treatment and mental scarring as they continue to grow physically and mentally.

Juvenile delinquents should not be tried as adults as their minds aren't mentally able to formulate the right decisions that may have gotten them there nor are they able to handle the conduct and abuse they will suffer while being imprisoned with adults.

This is the best I could come up with what you've written. Good Luck with your essay.

Generally use the specific noun rather than the pronoun.
Delinquencies aren't tried. It is the delinquent who is tried.
First write your ideas /sentence in outline form:
I. J.D.s should not be tried as adults
a) they won't be subject to abuse by adults in prison
b) ??? I'm not sure what you are saying here ???
c) there minds are immature

If you can't put your ideas down in outline form, they will never flow logically in your essay. You have a good topic and good points in a) and c)

Two of your three reasons seem to be very similar. Here's a rewrite; do with it what you will (by the way, I hate the "three reasons in one sentence thesis...I can hardly wait until teachers get off that trend):

Since the juvenile mind does not have capability to concretely understand the consequences of actions and since our current system of incarceration is not based on getting criminals successfully prepared for life outside of the prison system, it is vital that minors are tried and treated as minors to keep them from the dangers that persist in the prison systems of America.

Juvenille delinquents should be tried as juvenilles to avoid adult abuse, trauma caused by adult prisoners who prey on youth, and their inablity to conduct themselves appropriately in prison.

JD's should not be tried as adults. The judgment centers of their brains have not yet completely formed. If convicted, they tend to suffer more abuse than adult prisoners.

Juveniles should be tried as juveniles because they are too young and inexperienced to survive the abuse by adult inmates.

How's that?
