I get maudlin sometimes. I believe it means to remember the past and to yearn to those times gone by.
That is too simple a meaning for me. It carries much more weight then I can tolerate, early in my morning.

Iv never looked this word up in the dictionary,but iv always thought it to mean.. dark gloomy depressing... not anyone you wanna be around, they tend to bring everyone down with them...
