Yes, I have good manners...but a bad attitude most of the time...well some of the time, but always (almost) good manners.

Normally people with a bad attitude do not have good manners, other wise people would not be acusing them of having a bad attitude.

a bad attitude is hard to hide. Look at Ted Bundy. Great manners but his bad attitude turned him into a serial killer

I really don't know. But for sure, good manners would accentuate a bad attitude and vice versa.

It would be unusual, but I think possible. One could, for instance, call his/her supervisor at work (a few hours notice would be proper as well) and politely say "I am sorry, but I'm not feeling up to coming in today."
