Well if I could wear a retired number it would be 15 for the Yankees. I'm a catcher and Munson is my favorite.

I live in Detroit and a Tigers fan too. I'd wear another catcher's number, Bill Freehan's 11.

Surprised no one has said 69

i'd be a tiger, wear number 20 in honor of the tigers greatest player in history. mark fidrych.
the tigers should retire his number though and give him a statue in left center. yea, he really only pitched one season, but he drew more fans to the ball park than any other tiger in history. he's still a legend in this town to this day. a statue of the bird in left center would be a nice honor. imagine how many little kids asking their dad's and granddad's, "who's that funny looking guy talking to the ball?"
mark played baseball like a fan. he was fun to watch, and was a big inspiration to many young kids in the 70's and 80's. play baseball for fun first, to win second.

I'm a huge Red Sox fan, so I would love to play for them. My number would be number 5 because that was my number in eight years of little league :)
