Ok, it didn't 'hurt' on me, but I was sore the next day and a half. I took ibuprophin and that helped.
Yes you can get pregnant even if you only do sex once.
Do you bleed? Not always. On a lot of girls/women the hymen has already been broken from bike riding, horse riding, etc. If you do bleed, it's not going to be much.
A condom, used RIGHT, is about 80% effective. Maybe higher. Being on birth control will protect you even further. Birth control is 99% effective. I never got pregnant for the 15 years i was on it. Definately DO use a condom though, if the guy is carrying any STD that will at least help protect you against it.

Okay. As many adults have said many times here on Yahoo!, it's a good idea to talk to a caring adult in your life about these questions, like your mom or aunt or grandma, or an older sister or cousin. These are not crazy, stupid, or unusual questions; they are the same questions all people have before having sex.
Does it hurt? It depends. If you are someone who has used tampons, who has broken her hymen through sports or other activity, it usually isn't terribly painful. If it isn't broken, it may hurt a bit at first. Also, if you aren't terribly aroused, and are very tense and nervous (natural for a first-timer) it can be painful. The ways to make it less painful? Take your time, use lubricant (like KY Jelly or similar, NOT Vaseline). Relax.
Can she get pregnant? Yes, absolutely. Avoid pregnancy by using two forms of birth control: a condom, which should be required anyway to help prevent STDs, and either a spermicide or birth control pill or other method.
Some girls bleed, some don't; it depends on the condition of your hymen. If you do bleed, it's not usually heavy or long-lived.
Condoms are pretty effective if put on properly and used every single time you have intercourse. Same with other forms of birth control. The problems occur when people don't use BC every time. Use it every time!

How much discomfort your feel your first time depends on the woman. My first time it only felt like a very hard pinch for a minute or two, then the pleasure took over. It doesn't matter if it is the first time, or the 100th time, a woman can get pregnant any time she has sex. Not all women bleed the first time they have sex. It all depends on if their hymen is intact or not. Condoms can be 99% effective when used absolutely perfectly. Birth control pills can be 99.9% effective when taken exactly as instructed.

It all depends it can be very enjoyable or a little uncomfortable, most likely you'll enjoy it as long as you feel comfortable doing it with that person. You can get pregnant the first time. Not all girls bleed the first time. Depends on what kind of condom you get, some have a spermicide lubricant and are more effective, they all say on the box what percentage they are effective. Most birth controls are 99% effective.

"Does it really hurt the first time a girl has sex?"
For some it does. For some it doesn't. It depends on if she still has an intact hymen. The pain comes from the tearing of the hymen.
"Can she get pregnant the very first time she has sex? "
Yes, it is possible. Especially if no birth control was used.
"Do all girls bleed the first time?"
No.
"How effective is a condom?"
97-99% depending on proper usage.
"How effective is birth control?"
Hormonal birth control is 99% with perfect usage.

From what I understand, it doesn't always hurt. The pain comes from breaking the hymen, which girls can do riding bikes, horseback riding, or even potentially from sports and not even know it. Yes, girls can get pregnant the very first time they have sex. Not all girls bleed the first time, it just depends on the girl. Condoms and birth control are both 99.9% effective, but only when used properly.

Yes, it really does hurt the first time no matter how gentle the guy is. You can ALWAYS get pregnant, no matter if its your first time, on ur period, position, anything. I didnt bleed my first time, so i guess not all girls do. Condoms are pretty effective if you use them right and birth control is like 99% effective.
