I want to take a picture of down town Phoenix at night from a high location or from a distance.

State capital in 18th ave.
Metro center in Peorie ave

The Pointe at South Mountain, Rustler's Roost restaurant. It is high up on a hill and has a very nice view of down town (which is split into tree sections). Or the Butte's which is also at South Mountain. Unless you have panoramic view, you cannot get all the the phoenix sky line in one photo.

South Mountain, You can drive there from Baseline Rd. Perfect view of downtown. Also don't go to South Mtn. on sunday cuz sometimes they close down the mountain.

I'd suggest the drive up South Mountain.

Papago Park has some nice spots. Camelback Mountain too.

Take Central ave all the way South.

North Mountain is also beautiful or on top of Camelback Mountain

south mountain there is a place called rustlers roost, its a restaurant
