A crime was committed by Senator Trillanes for leading a rebellion in the change of leadership and it is unethical. He should have filed the appropriate charges in court if he has evidence against the government.

It's unethical and wrong, not to mention highly impulsive. As a Filipino citizen I am tired of openly opposing the government through coup d' etat and rallies. I've also witnessed so many impeachment attempts that have failed, and I think it's such a waste of time and effort.

If all the oppositionists truly loved the country, they would focus on doing what is best for the country (better laws, safeguarding against future election cheating), instead of trying to pull down somebody who obviously doesn't want to step down in power.

Amusingly, I also think it comes at a bad time. Christmas season is a time for giving and forgiving :P

Is the law that makes him a criminal, in your eyes, that of the Philippines or the United States. If the senator has broken the laws of the Philippines then let the Government there do what they will with him. There is no habeas corpus that would let us decide his fate. America needs to get in touch with it's own domestic problems and keep the government working here. It is time for us to stop passing judgment on foreign nations. That is also a strong reference to Iran.
