If you can catch a falling star and put it in your pocket, you can touch a floating cloud and put it in a jar. These are all figurative expressions that would make a great poem.

Yes, if a platform high enough can be built to enable you to reach the clouds,you could put a handful inside a jar but in the end you will have a jarful of water.

You can actually make clouds yourself, I don't recall the process, but I remember doing it in high school for my earth science class and it involved a jar, good stuff.

great question. i used to live on a mountain. if i went outside early enough i'd see a cloud filling the river valley below. 'valley people see the mountain clothed in cloud. i open the door, and the fog creeps inside'. it condenses on the window panes, and turns to water.
