For those old enough, do you make comparisons between what we have seen and heard - Sammy Davis Jr., Satchmo, Judy Garland, woodstock, 2001, Dr Zivago, Dr. strangelove, the original Psycho, Victor Borga, The tonight show with Steve Allen, and so on, and what is on tv today? I spend a lot of time on PBS just to see some of these things again because in some cases nothing today can compare, can it?

To me back then, the music was true music, and the men and women really knew how to sing and dance. It seems like energy was at its best back in Fred Astair and Ginger Rogers movies and other movies in that time erra. I like to watch old movies, and listen to oldies but goodies songs. Love playing them on the piano as well. :-) We have some beautiful music and awesome movies today, but for me, I'm a bit partial to the classics. :-)

Your thought is as good as mine. I observed that most of what we have seen, heard and read are better than what we are experiencing today because most of what is being done today is more of repetition than original or of less qualities.

Permit me to say that, the ones we have now are intending or trying to emulate or copy from their past records to form theirs.
