Did he die in the 7th book? I haven't found out. People keep on telling me he did, but I'm not sure. Help?

No he didn't actually die in any of the stories. In the 7th book another wand maker is killed, however Ollivander is just tortured by Voldemort for information on the Elder wand, which he believe was unbeatable and he would be able to use to finally kill Harry Potter.

However you never actually find out what happens to him after Voldemorts defeat. I am assuming that he went back to his story in Diagon Alley to continue making and selling wands to new witches and wizards until he dies of old age.

No. The last we hear from him is his move to Aunt Muriel's house. Presumably, he stayed out of the Battle of Hogwarts. As to what he did after the fall of Voldemort, I do not know. He might have reopened the shop, of he might have been too broken by his torture to continue in business. JKR has not said.

He didn't die. He was last shown in Deathly Hallows leaving for Auntie Muriel's, recovered after a year of torture by Voldemort.

not in the main story, but since he was getting along in years, i'm sure that he died before the epilogue.
