Lincoln Park Zoo I will agree is pretty nice and it's free. That's the zoo I saw some gorilla's going at it. It was obscene.

I love the San Diego Zoo too. :) Also very cool are the Detroit Zoo, Toledo Zoo and Memphis Zoo. There is also a tiny one in Lansing, Michigan I like called Potter Park -- it's great because you get a lot closer to the animals.

I haven't been there, but I have seen pictures of the San Diego zoo, and it is probably the best. The best one I have been to is just north of Detroit, either in or just west of Royal Oaks.
