I'm taking my kids to ride it tomorrow. The ride is sold out all over the country. Have you ever experience the Polar Express?

You guys! Google it. It's a real railroad trip aboard the Polar Express. Here it's a narrow gauge railroad (Silverton, Colorado) to the "north pole" and Santa and his reindeer wait for us at the end of the ride and Santa boards the train and passes out silver bells to the kids.

I'm with OC1999 on this one, however I would extend the age all the way up to 10 yrs old. I have taken my god-daughter on one (on the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad near Akron, OH) when they first offered it and she absolutely adored it. I'm thinking about taking my daughter this year (she's 6 now). This year the tickets are a flat rate of $30/person (and I had to enter a lotto August 1st, because that's how popular they are), but in my mind its totally worth it. Hopefully if you decide soon and are able to get tickets, if not, there's always next year.

We didn't ride on it but it went by our house. The kids put coins on the track. We got real cool pictures. Have a wonderful time.
