YES!!!!! For a short period of time I HATED the boy that molested my daughter..........I had babysat for him when no one else would because of his ADHD- for years! After he was big enough to be on his own before school I still had a good relationship with him and we talked almost every day. He was almost 14 and my daughter was 5 when the incident occurred. It was devastating.
My daughter is now 11 and fully recovered for quite a while. I hope with all my heart that his parents got help for him. The hate was over quickly, but the concern for his mental well being still lingers. Even my daughter says she hopes he learned why he did it so he doesn't try it again.
Sorry to vent such a personal thing, but your question set off a major reaction! Whew.

Hate is such an ugly, powerful word. I may have been blinded by intense dislike for a while, but that passed. I have learned that letting go of your anger and moving on with your life despite whatever has happened is the best revenge.

Along long time ago I lived in and with hate all around me...and yes, was blinded by it until I got away from it....now I don't hate anything or anyone....

I have difficulty hating anyone, I am not able to hate even those who have hurt me deeply!! I don't hate them they just cease to exist in my life!!
