If you are going to tell me to go and buy a new cartridge do not bother with a response..

Try taking the cartridge out of the printer and reinstalling it again, hope that helps.

Quite simply, you cannot.

Keep printing, trust your eye, when you start to see fading it is time to replace the cartridge, or have it refilled again. Ink levels are just an estimate and rarely accurate.

If you can deal with the annoyance of not having a vague idea of how much ink is the cartridge in lieu of price, that is the only way to go.

Hi. When you install the refilled cartridge, the Maintainence program should ask if it is new. Answer 'Yes". Could not find info on a chip or a resetting program.
