When I say jealousy, I mean does fear of losing his girlfriend to another man ever motivate a guy to propose marraige to his girlfriend..?? Just curious

Jealousy makes you do all sort of crazy things. Proposing may impress her... and that's what you want to do after feeling like your not so impressive.
However, after getting married then there isn't many more steps you can take to officially take the relationship to the next level. So marriages that were formed under jealous factors usually result in a rapid degrade.

No, not usually it doesn't, I wouldn't try to make a guy ever propose to me under these conditions, I only would want a true and honest proposal, it would show he really loves me, not because he is just jealous of someone stepping in on his girl.

yes a man can get jealous and propose, but it makes for a very bad marriage, because his reasons weren't the right ones, and once he gets the girl he may not want her anymore if he did it to boost his ego, or self esteem. but it could also backfire and he might just move on and decide its not worth fighting for.

No I wouldn't think so. A person can be jealous of someone without wanting to commit to that person for life. It just might be part of who he is.

Nah, it'll make the man insecure and think that his woman is cheating on him and accuse her of all sorts of sordid things.

there are some guys have done that but it back fire because if he is jealousy of losing her to another guy. what level of his jealousy will rise when they're married? hmmmm....are you thinking.....

i wouldnt it makes me give up, if she is starting to see other guys then obviously she is going to make a good wife. i dont want to have a tightrope lifestyle always in fear of doing something wrong.

everyone is different. jealousy can run your mate away or make him/her motivated to do positive or negative things. weigh your options and see if its really worth it. everyone is different.
