Patrick Henry was a Quaker.

He was often accused of being "a half-Quaker." Quakers, especially in Europe, were considered mystics by some and heretics by others. Certainly Henry's orations held a mystical sway over his audience, and that might account for his description as a "Quaker".

However, he originally was an Episcopalian according to page 432 of "The True Patrick Henry" By George Morgan.

This is public domain and is a free download from http://books.google.com/books?id=DeQEAAAAYAAJ&pg=RA5-PA432&dq=%22Patrick+Henry%22+%2B+religion#PRA5-PA432,M1

There are tons of books at this site for doing all sorts of research, and plenty more on Patrick Henry. So go to it, and have fun.

If You want you could call him Quaker.......
or Episcopalian.......originally......
but in my "humble opinion".........
He was more of an orator and silver-tongued..."POLITICIAN"
That is what I think his "main-religion" was..........
But as for me, "Give me Liberty or Give me Death!!" LOL........HAPPY HOLIDAYS AND A MERRY X-MAS!!
