I DO put the CD in the right way
I DO insert my game when its on the wii channel

Put another game disk in. If the other game disk work, it's not the wii. It's the disk that your trying to play. :)

This has happened to me too. I had my Wii since the day it came out, and I think it's just a hardware problem. It seems that if you have a CD in there, and you turn it on, then eject that CD and put in the new game you want to play, you need to then turn the power off then turn it back on and it should be fine. That's how mine works for whatever strange reason ><.

So basically, restart the system after you put in the new game and it should work.

I have had this problem too, you can send it back to Nintendo, but I wouldn't because they just might screw it up more. The solution to this is simple - follow these instructions

1. Eject Disc
2. Turn off wii
3. Turn on wii
4. Press the eject button
5. DO NOT OPEN THE DISC CHANNEL
6. Wait 10 seconds on the main menu
7. Insert game
8. Wait 5 seconds before going to the disc channel
9. Wait until you get the disc recognized, DO NOT PRESS START.
10. Press Start when you see all the logos, game etc.

Just remember that the only way to officially reboot the Wii (and most electronic devices) is to remove the power cable from the back. Wait at least 20 seconds. Any "powered-on" or "standby" reboot or reset is software driven.

FYI: You are not the only one, however the Wii usually pulls through.

Get a dvd lens cleaning disc and let it run in the drive a couple of time to clean the eye. The wii won't recognise it so you won't get a menu to run it buit putting it in causes the wii lens to search for readable content and the disc brushes should be able to get scum off the drive.
