A renewable resource is wood. We can grow trees fast enough to cover most of the demand for lumber. Petroleum takes millions of years to form under conditions we can't necessarily replicate and even if we could, we couldn't produce it fast enough to cover demand. This makes it a non-renewable resource.

Well oil is a nonrenewable resource and gasoline is derived from oil. There is only a limited amount of oil in the world and once it is gone, it's gone.
That's why it is important to develop renewable resources like solar and wind power.

Because there is limited amounts of oil, which means limited amounts of petroleum, which is what gasoline is made of, thus gasoline is a nonrenewable resource. Oil is considered a nonrenewable resource only because it takes A REALLY LONG TIME to regenerate.

Because it comes from distilled petroleum. Crude petroleum takes millions of years to form so in our lifetimes it is not a renewable resource.

It's refined from petroleum. Petroleum isn't renewable, so neither is gasoline.

If you research how gasoline in made, you can answer your own question (and learn something at the same time).

It is refined from petroleum (oil) which is a fossil fuel.
We don't have enough time to make any more.
We are limited to what already exists to be discovered.

It is hard to say because we will get more gas in millions of years, so technically it is a renewable resource.
