GOVERNMENT HAS NO INTERESTS IN YR COMPUTER ACTIVITY AS LONG AS YOU ARE NOT UNDER CRIMINAL INVESTIGATIONS FOR ANY PURPOSE AND IN THAT CASE THEY HAVE MEANS TO FIND OUT WHAT YOU DID OR WHAT YOU'RE DOING ON COMPUTER - OTHERWISE GOVERNMENT HAS ZERO INTERESTS IN YR COMPUTER ACTIVITY

Use open source software as much as possible. One of the philosophies of open source is that no group or individual should be able to gain control or monitor users behaviour as the source code is open for all to read and verify that no surveillance is in-built.

Having said that, the Government does know a lot of citizens behaviour in the rates and fines they pay, the job they have, the taxed they pay, when someone gets born or dies. Is there any overarching conspiracy to track all citizens? I don't think so, In my opinion the Governments of the world couldn't get organised enough to do this.

To cite Hanlon's Razor:

"Never attribute to malice that which can be adequately explained by stupidity."
