I don't know, but I am kinda disturbed by the people that answered by saying you should just take it as entertainment. Maybe it is just that, but this is a Q&A forum, and your question is valid in more ways than a lot of the crap I see on here. Perhaps entertainment is just entertainment, but I for one highly doubt it as I see it being used as a podium for all sorts of societal and political stances on a regular basis. If you think Hollywood and New York are just turning out wholesome, or even enlightening entertainment your just fooling yourself. Marketing is everywhere, in everything, and it is working in the most disturbing ways to skew the way we live and think.

I think everyone is making the movie into more than what is worth; it is supposed to be something that is entertaining, and somewhat thought provoking. Too many want to villianize it, and make the act of seeing it a label of being anti-Christian. There is nothing wrong with seeing the movie, nor anything wrong with reading the book. If it makes you question religion, then congrats - that is a part of life! You should question everything! How else are you going to discover what you believe if you don't question it to begin with????

Yes. I find it odd they use God's real name in the movie that is also in the Bible. If it was so innocent, then why did they do that? To stir up controversy and to bring more attention to their film? It's working eh? I won't see it.

How many times are you going to ask this? If you think the movie is "anti-christian" fine don't watch it and get on with your life. Stop spamming, it's annoying.

i just noticed i already posted my answer on your other question. look man, if you go into the book or movie looking specifically for antichristian themes, you'll find them. the same is true for the phonebook. if you go into it looking for a good read or an exciting movie, it's what you'll get. it's all about expectations
