1. The UN has no authority over legal private businesses.
2. We only have oil and gas companies because we need the oil and the gas to run our society. You want to put people in jail, or to take away their income for having the audacity to have provided the energy that built our cities, that runs our agriculture, and heats our homes?
How are you planning on dealing with the billions of souls who would die in the absence of petorleum-based fuels?
