It's a thick paper, here's a picture.

I just need to know what kind of label this is.

It could have been made with a hand-carved, soft stencil block, stencil pad, and brown paper cut in a 3"-wide band--all available from a craft store like Michael's. Note: Carving such a stencil block requires artistic skill and practice. You may want to check out the hundreds of ones that are already made. You could use butterflies, zodiac signs, etc.
P.S.--The label in your photo appears to have been printed twice, first light, then dark on plain, brown paper--tricky to do by hand to get it exact.

I think it's created in a photo program on the computer and printed out onto patterned paper.
