Sorry, but the landlord doesnt pay you to evict you. In fact, you pay his court costs to evict you. He doesnt have to pay you anything to help you move. That is your problem. It doesnt matter why he is evicting you. If the judge says you are gone, then you are gone by the date he says. If you damage anything because you are mad about being evicted, believe me, the landlord will find you, and take you back to court and get more money out of you.
Your best bet. Get out while you can still rent an apartment somewhere, because once the court rules in the landlords favor, it goes on your credit report for 7 to 10 yrs. That is going to make it very hard to buy anything on credit or even buy a house if you can.
Keep in mind. Landlords dont pay you to get out of their house. No relocating fees, no moving van fees, NOTHING.
Sorry thats the law.

Why are you being evicted? If the landlord has to evict you then the only right you have is to get out of his house. You can research on google and find the site for State laws and there you will be able to find the tenant landlord act. I don't live in California so someone may be able to advise you. However if the eviction is for nonpayment of rent or something then you can't expect the landlord to give you more than he has.

You have the right to leave with all of your worldly goods before the Marshall comes out and puts you out on the street. You have been evicted sorry.
