The thing that really popped out the most, out of everything McCain uttered, was his implication that Vietnam was not a mistake. I had pretty much assumed that there was general consensus that the Vietnam War was both a huge failure and an error. It doesn't even match his party line, it was started by a Democrat, and ended by a Republican.
It's really the first time since the Vietnam War was taking place, that I have heard anybody mention anything about that war being anything other than a mistake.
The best light it is ever presented in was "at the time .. people thought it was the right thing to do"

McCain is just trying to get more air time by attacking a candidate that he thought wouldnt respond as strongly as he did. But we all saw how wrong McCain's strategy was, Ron Paul put him in his place!

Don Quixote and McCain are similar because they are fighting the wrong war. The Iraq debacle will be another Vietnam for the US.

VOTE for your choice as US President on my 360 degrees blog and know who will likely win.

Give your bias and labels a rest will you, it is the liberal tree huggers that are keeping alternative energy from being implemented. The Kennedy's blocked the windmill farm stating it would tarnish the view of their property.
