How do you get a Tome for any Profession on Guild Wars?

Specifically spell caster tomes. I see people selling them all the time but I have no idea where to get them.

Elite Tomes also, where?

Tomes only drop in Hard Mode. You can get them as drops from monsters or from chests. A monster will drop the same tome as his profession, so if you are looking for Elementalist tomes for example then you need to fight a lot of Ele monsters like the Hydras outside Augry Rock (hint hint)

Elite Tomes only drop from bosses or you can get one from a chest. Again, only in hard mode.

And finally, last night there was an update to the game and a new chest has been placed in the Isle of the Nameless. It costs 5000 Balthazar Faction for a key to the chest. This chest can drop all sorts of weapons/tomes/consumables. I believe this is the only place outside of hard mode that a tome can be obtained. (Except for buying off of other players of course)

You get them as drops for playing in Hard Mode - you have to beat the whole campaign first though.
