i t is very simple, the principle of pregnancy test is they form monoclonal antibodies against the urine HCG present in the pregnant woman's urine they start secreting from the third day of becoming pregnant and it reacts with the urine sample and forms a linear line along with a controll line and shows positivity. hence early morning sample of urine should be taken and a drop should be placed in the pit provided in the pregnancy kit and you should watch for a line similar to the one already available over the pregnancy kit named as controll and if it resembles the controll line it is considered positive.some exceptions are also there where negative may be noted and pregnancy be positive,

I just went to the health department a few weeks ago for a pregnancy test, and they had me take a urine test. At home I took a Walgreen's brand test and a first response test, and both got a very faint second line. The nurse said their test is in between the two as far as the level of hcg they test for, and I got the same result there, the second line barely showed up, but they confirmed it as a positive. Later in the week, I took my second First Response Test and it showed up 2 dark lines right away. I'm not sure if this helps at all, but a blood test is def the most accurate.

use a rabbit. If you're pregnant it dies.

"The phrase, "The rabbit died," came to be a euphemism for a positive pregnancy test in the late 1920 and early 1930s. Around 1927 it was discovered that if you injected the urine of a pregnant woman into a rabbit, there would be corpora hemorrhagica in the ovaries of the rabbit. These bulging masses on the ovaries could not be seen with out killing the rabbit to inspect the ovaries, so invariably, every rabbit died, even if the woman wasn't pregnant."

Other than that you use money to buy one at the store.

You would need the right chemicals, but if it's a cost thing you can get just the test strips for cheap. 41cents a piece!
